I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Doctor of Behavioral Health working with children, families, and adults. I use an attachment and trauma-focused approach, which enables clients to explore and address root causes from various stages of development to current challenges.
I am a multi-modal therapist and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and an EMDR Child and Complex Trauma Specialist. I am trained in Brainspotting and in Internal Family Systems. I am also a Story play Practitioner and I implement Theraplay and sand tray therapy for all ages.
My specializations include attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, social and relationship issues, and trauma. I hold an Advanced Graduate Studies degree in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation. I’m a Grief and Recovery Method Specialist and I’m trained to implement the Safe and Sound Protocol by Porges. I follow a collaborative, client-focused approach that is solution-focused and strengths-based to assist my clients in reaching their goals.
I consider it a privilege and an honor to be part of the healing process and growth for my clients.
I also enjoy working with therapists in their professional growth and I’m an approved supervisor by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. I am also a Consultant in Training (CIT) working toward becoming an EMDRIA approved consultant (EAC) so that I can consult with EMDR therapists working on basic training or toward certification
